At our January meeting, we welcomed three new members to the Group. Each will shortly have their own page but in the meantime, here is a brief introduction.

Linda Harvey |
Linda Harvey studied Textiles and Surface Design at University Centre Somerset and is Head of Textiles at a York Secondary School. Her work is inspired by rustic textures and the ageing process with colour and texture being key elements in her work. Working from photographs, Linda enjoys an expressive and experimental way of working. She is also a member of York Textile Artists.

Louise Goult |
Louise Goult has a City & Guilds in Textile Art and has worked with textiles and hand embroidery for many years. Alongside her love for history which is beginning to influence her work, Louise enjoys creating conceptual work that is underpinned by research.

Christina Leigh-Howarth |
Christina Leigh-Howarth has a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and likes to work with print and textiles. She has been part of the Stitching Together Group at Catterick Garrison, a community funded project commissioned by the Army Welfare Service working with Rural Arts (Thirsk). Christina is currently in the second year of an experimental textile based course at the Lund Gallery.
