Lovely piece in the Yorkshire Post today about our exhibition at Nunnington Hall. Over 100 textile art pieces on display as well as the house dressed for Christmas, so plenty to see!
See the blog posts below for news of forthcoming exhibitions, or click on the links to the left for details about individual artists.
Today we met together in person for the first time since just before lock down and we all agreed that it felt great to get back to something like normal!
Sadly during lockdown two valued members have decided to leave the group, Linda Harvey and Gwen Turner. We will miss them both tremendously but Gwen has agreed to exhibit with us one last time at Burton Constable Hall in November.
The door is always open for any previous member of the Group should they wish to return and on that note, the Group is looking to expand and we will shortly be putting a call out for anyone who may wish to join us in the New Year so if you know of any professional textile artists looking to join a mixed media exhibiting Group, please ask them to contact Sandra Middleton on sandramiddleton2706@gmail.com
Our next meeting is in September - fingers crossed that the current freedoms continue to allow us to get together in person.
After the disappointment of having to postpone our exhibition at Burton Constable Hall last year, due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are thrilled to be able to announce that a new date has now been agreed.
