Sandra Middleton

I have loved fabric, stitch and embroidery since I was a child and it has been an enduring thread throughout my life.

My work is inspired by my love of colour and my affinity with numbers. I hand dye all of my silks and velvets and then use them to create my multi-layered unique "fractured colour" technique. It looks woven but it has its basis in my attention to detail.
